Robinson Animalintex compresses

Animalintex is an absorbent multi-layer compress and wound dressing. Animalintex is a veterinary bandage. It can be used as a warm compress, cold compress or dry compress and is suitable for treating infected wounds, open wounds, sprains, bruises, abscesses, laminitis etc.

Instructions:

Warm compress:
Cut the compress to size and place it in a shallow container with boiled water, then let it cool to 38ºC. Once the compress is saturated, remove the compress from the water and gently wring out the excess water. The Animalintex must be moist and not soaking wet. Place the compress on the wound with the plastic side on the outside, the voids must be filled well. Cover with Cohesive Bandages, making sure the compress is completely covered.

Cold compress:
Cut the compress to size and place it in a shallow container of boiled water, then let it cool completely. Once the compress is saturated, remove the compress from the water and gently wring out the excess water. The Animalintex must be moist and not soaking wet. Place the compress on the wound with the plastic side on the outside, the voids must be filled well. Cover with Cohesive Bandages, making sure the compress is completely covered. Animalintex can also be cooled in the refrigerator in the packaging.

Dry compress:
Place the compress, straight from the packaging, on the area to be treated with the plastic side on the outside. Cover it with Cohesive Bandages.

Warning:
Animalintex should not be used in combination with other medical preparations, except after advice from your veterinarian, who should be consulted before applying the dressing to infected wounds. Make sure the bandage is not applied too tightly and that the bandage is not too hot.
